The Story: This is a dairy free risotto that makes it hard to tell its a dairy free risotto. The creamy texture comes from a simple parsnip puree. Meanwhile, the roasted mushroom flavour the dish beautifully. This is a delicious risotto everyone can eat and feel great.

Ingredients: mushroom stock (celery, carrot, porcini), parsnip puree (parsnips, kosher salt), arborio rice, roasted mushrooms (mushrooms, garlic, kosher salt, rosemry, thyme, black pepper, onion, white wine, garlic, olive oil, parsley, kosher salt, black pepper

may contain: truffle, black olives, truffle aroma, truffle oil

Spice Level: Low, not spicy

Heating Instructions:

Stove: From frozen or defrosted, heat in saucepot until warm.

Microwave: From frozen or defrosted, in microwave safe container, heat until warm.

Portion: 600g. Serves 2 people.

Farm’r opened its doors in 2017 right by the St Lawrence Market. We wanted to bring the best aspects of fine dining into a more accessible, fast casual space. For over 2 years, we served up local, delicious, scratch made food crafted by seasoned chefs to our neighbourhood as well as to offices in downtown Toronto through our growing catering business.

With COVID-19, we had to get creative and that’s how Farm’r Prepared Meals was born. These days, people are spending more time at home and cooking can get exhausting! We noticed that there weren’t a lot of quality frozen meals out there. Using the same core values we had with our restaurant, we’ve created a new menu of small batch, chef made meals that are ready to heat, eat and enjoy!
